Bio
Based in Atlanta, singer/songwriter Melissa Bret (formerly known as Melissa Brethauer) is a classically trained pianist and self-taught guitarist with a sultry, soulful voice. Her vocal style has warm, bluesy tones that draw the listener in and she is best known for her unique acoustic arrangements of popular cover songs at her live shows.
With over a decade of experience, Melissa regularly performs at several high-end luxury resorts, hotels, and other upscale venues. She also plays numerous corporate and private events nationwide.
Melissa's most recent music release (Spring of 2022), a single titled “Bliss”, was written, recorded and self-produced.
More of her original music can be heard on both her first album “Waiting” released in 2009, and second album, “Easy Way Out,” (late 2015).
